Ferdinand Tietz ( German: Ferdinand Tietz or Ferdinand Dietz , 1708 , Jeserji , Bohemia - June 17, 1777 , Seehof Castle near Memmelsdorf ) - German Rococo sculptor.
Ferdinand Titz managed to work in five German principalities: Bamberg , Würzburg , Trier , Speyer and Cologne and served six bishops .
Adam Ferdinand Titz was the second son of the sculptor Johann Adam Dietz (Ferdinand changed the first letter in the surname). Together with his older brother, Ferdinand studied the craft of the sculptor in the workshop of his father. After that, she was trained by the Prague sculptor Matthias Bernhard Brown .
Since 1736 , Titz worked for Balthazar Neumann . His first independent works were the figures for the main altar in the church of Gaukönigshofen near Oksenfurt . Titz created a large number of sculptures, some of which can be seen in the museums of Würzburg and Nuremberg . Ten baroque sculptures of Titz are installed in the chapel of the palace in Malberg .
