Spybot - Search & Destroy is a program designed to prevent and eliminate infection of a user's computer with spyware ( spyware ), trojans , porno dialers , malware , scumware , malicious add-ons to the browser , components that track the user's preferences without his consent. The program is not anti-virus software in the usual sense of the term and is rather an additional toolkit to increase the level of security on the Internet.
