The coat of arms of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is modeled on the coat of arms of the Republic of Cyprus , with some differences:
- Removed: 1960 figures from a shield under a pigeon.
- Added: Turkish emblem of the star and crescent above the shield and the numbers 1983 (year of adoption of the Declaration of Independence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus).
