Patrol of Time (film 1994)

1994 year . Improving time travel technology. Criminals begin to use the new opportunity for their own ends. To stop criminal actions in time, the government creates a special police force (TEC). Max Walker, one of the employees of the new organization, is eager to work and detain criminals. However, that night, unknown people beat Max, and blow up his house with his wife Melissa. Miraculously, the surviving Max worked for ten years in a row in the police, dreaming of revenge on the murderers of his wife.

2004 year . Ten years later, Max finally finds out who was responsible for Melissa's death. Guilty is the US Senator McKom, who wants to become president. McCom illegally owns the prototype of a time machine, and arbitrarily changes the past for his own benefit. Chasing McCom, Max once realizes that it was his actions that made McCom go back in time and try to kill Max. As a result, Max survived, but his wife, who was also pregnant, died. Tormented by remorse, Max goes to the past, trying to stop the militants of McCom, who in the previous reality killed his wife.

Returning to the past, Max manages to talk with his wife Melissa, explaining to her what is really happening. Melissa, realizing that she is driving Max, keeps her husband, young Max, up until the militants of McCom, as before, attack the Walker who came out of the door. Only this time, the eldest Walker comes out of the door, maturing for ten years and easily defeating the bandits. After that, the younger Walker enters the battle, neutralizing the rest of the militants. The two Max, acting together, defeat all of McCom's people, although the last of them, a monstrously strong and huge punk, still beats and stuns the wounded Max Jr. Max Sr., having defeated punk, goes directly to Senator McCom, who took Melissa hostage. It turns out that Max has practically nothing to threaten the senator - he, knowing the laws of causality, is not at all afraid of death. Even if Makkom is now killed, his young twin will remain alive and become president. That is why the senior senator wants to blow up the house with Max and himself. But Max foresaw this: in the house, enticed there by Max's fraudulent message, the younger McKom suddenly appears. Now, both McCom will die in the explosion, destroying all the plans of the panicked senator. Taking this opportunity, Max pushed both criminals together, the eldest and the youngest, destroying the senator in this way, and rescues the wounded Melissa, carrying her out of the burning house. The last thing he does is puts the unconscious Melissa on the shoulder of the battered Max Jr.

Returning to normal time, Max discovers that ten years ago, Senator McKom, once leaving home, disappeared without a trace. For all ten years, no serious crimes have been detected in time. Max’s boss, who in the previous reality helped him to go back in time, and who then received a bullet in his spine, calmly walks on the ground and does not remember anything about the events that happened. Passing along the corridor, Max sees all the same huge punk arrested by the police and escorted to the cell. Thus, with the disappearance of the criminal senator, another time line appeared in which almost all the characters in the film remained alive and well. Max goes home, where he is hugged by a ten-year-old son. Living Melissa, telling him how the day went, says that she has a surprise for him. She told him the same thing ten years ago.
