Biography

Born in the village of Mirolyubovka, near Ternopol. After graduating from school, he entered vocational school , then got a job as a tiler.

In the army, he played for the national team of his construction battalion. After returning from the army, he played in the amateur team of the Ternopil Quadra plant. In these games he was noticed by the coaches of the Vinnytsia Lokomotiv, who then played in the second union league.

In 1982 he moved to the Moscow Spartak. In one of the first championship games, Vishnevsky was injured by inguinal rings and decided to return to Vinnitsa.

In 1984 he moved to Dnepropetrovsk "Dnepr", which included became the champion of the USSR in 1988. In the same year he became part of the USSR national team, having won silver medals in the European Championship.

In 1989-1992 he played in Turkey for FenerbahΓ§e and Saryespor, ending his player's career due to injuries. After returning to Ukraine, he worked as the second coach in Vinnytsia β€œNiva” and β€œDnipro”.

He died on May 11, 1996 due to melanoma formed in 1988.
