Biography
In 1923 - 1934 - commander of the 7th regiment of the Estonian army. In 1934-1936 - commander of the 1st division. In 1936-1940 - the commander of the 2nd division.
After Estonia joined the USSR and the 22nd Estonian territorial corps of the Red Army was formed on the basis of the Estonian army , he was appointed commander of the 182nd rifle division of this corps.
He was arrested on July 17, 1941 by a decree of the CCA under the NKVD of the USSR on charges of participation in a counter-revolutionary organization on April 22, 1942, sentenced to death . The sentence was executed on May 15, 1942 in Moscow . Rehabilitated by the definition of HCBS from July 5, 1963 [1] .
