It is pronounced in classical Arabic and some dialects as a resounding uvular spirant / ʁ / (similar to French or German "R"). It is sometimes pronounced as a voiced velar spirant / ɣ / (as the South Russian and Belarusian “g” or “x” in Russian “my x would”).
