Trønder type is an anthropological type of Caucasian race characteristic of Iceland (up to 60% of the population [1] ) and Norway (up to 45% of Norwegians , mainly in the west of the country). It comes mainly from the type of cord ceramics culture . It is divided into three subtypes: the Hardanger and Orkdale types are characterized by the predominance of traits of the Cordid type, while the third type of Valle, common in the mountains of southwestern Norway , has a strong admixture of the Fals race . The proliferation of traders (outside of Norway ) is often associated with Viking campaigns and relocations. Traders are the highest of the Scandinavians, slender, muscular in nature people with a high forehead, blue or blue eyes, curly hair from brown-haired to golden blond.
The name was proposed by the Norwegian anthropologist H. Brun [2] and comes from the name of the Norwegian region of Trøndelag .
