Content
Story
Los Angeles, 1960s. Energetic widow Francis Lacy and her six children are trying to make the dream of their own home a reality. Therefore, they leave Los Angeles and go to the countryside, encountering all possible difficulties along the way.
Awards and nominations
Edward Furlong, with his role in the film, won the Young Artist Awards in the Best Young Performer in a Drama Film category (the award was shared between Furlong and Jason James Richter for his role in the movie “ Free Willy ”). Clarissa Lassig was also nominated for the Young Artist Awards as the best young leading female performer, as well as an acting ensemble (in the category “Outstanding Ensemble of Young Actors in a Feature Film”) and a film (in the category “Outstanding Family Drama Film”) in general [1] .
