Works on many operating systems with X Window System or emulation, on GNU / Linux also with SVGAlib ; and on Win32 .
Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License . On the Lincity website there was a “hall of honor" - a list of players who managed to remove the city’s population from the planet or create a sustainable economy [5] .
LinCity-NG
LinCity-NG is a fork of Lincity, which differs from the original in isometric graphics and other sound effects, but uses the same engine . It was created as part of the Game of the Month project at The Linux Game Tome in 2005 [6] .
A version incompatible with the original engine is also being developed.
