Content
Story
Captain Charles Marlow, an employee of an illegal ivory mining company, is sent by her leadership to the very wilds of the Belgian Congo , to one of the farthest transshipment points. This is where one of Charles’s main sources of product is located. As he approaches his goal, he hears more and more different stories about a certain Kurtz, an agent of this company, living in the depths of the jungle. The locals, as Marlowe notes, talk about him with a mixture of fear and hatred.
