The Zionist Organization of America ( ZOA ) is one of the first American Zionist organizations founded in 1897. Created to promote the formation of an independent Jewish state, it is currently one of the largest organizations with a pro-Israeli position.
Among the areas of activity are the strengthening of US-Israeli relations, educational programs, support for pro-Israeli decisions in Congress , the fight against anti-Israeli misinformation in the media, textbooks, guidebooks, university campuses.
