Biography
Tahir Mateulin graduated from the Gorky Theater School (teachers - N. A. Levkoev , V. Ya. Dvorzhetsky ).
Since 1960, he worked in the Kaliningrad Regional Drama Theater , was a leading and most experienced actor, a “visiting card” of the Kaliningrad theater community.
Main roles: Big Pa (“ Cat on a Hot Roof ” - Tennessee Williams ); John the Terrible ("The Death of John the Terrible " by A. K. Tolstoy ); King Lear ( King Lear - Shakespeare ); Krechinsky (“ Krechinsky's Wedding ” - A. V. Sukhovo-Kobylin ); Torrance (" Orpheus Goes Down to Hell " - Tennessee Williams); Cherkun ("Barbarians" - M. Gorky ); Ebin (“Love Under the Elms” - Eugene O'Neill ).
He acted in films in the films “ Go and See ”, “ Devil Dolls ”, “ Ermak ”.
He died of cancer on April 16, 2005, was buried in the old cemetery of Kaliningrad .
