Story
Returning home after the end of World War II , a young veteran Timmy Cleary discovers a serious discord between the parents. Constant quarrels make the lives of both unbearable. Gradually, Timmy realizes that he will have to make a choice between his parents. Trying to achieve reconciliation, he buys a bouquet of roses and offers his father to give a bouquet to his mother. For a short time, family relationships are improving. However, as soon as the mother finds out that the flowers were bought not by her husband, but by her son, a quarrel again occurs. Mother smashes a vase of flowers. Realizing that he cannot improve the situation, Timmy decides to leave home. Before breakfast, the family has breakfast together.
