The authorities were able to localize the outbreak of demonization of humanity that occurred in the damned movie theater. Some time later, apparently due to the threat of relapse, in cities, apartment buildings will be equipped with reliable security systems. But how much of them sense, if trouble comes from within?

The girl Sally who lives in the elite skyscraper "Tower" is having a party in honor of her birthday. On the same evening, a horror film was broadcast on television about a group of young people who, at night, sneaked into a restricted area surrounded by a wall and barbed wire, whose inhabitants had turned into demons some time ago. In search of trophies, the youth finds the body of a dead demon, and one of the girls accidentally revives him, dropping a drop of blood from a cut hand onto a corpse.

Sally's party is in jeopardy when it turns out that her ex-boyfriend Jacob is going to come to the party. Rolling a tantrum, Sally retires to her room, where she watches a movie. To the horror of the girl, a revived demon from the movie climbs out of the TV into the room and attacks her. Stepping out to the guests, Sally blows out the candles on the birthday cake, after which she turns into a demon and kills all the guests who cannot leave the apartment, because the front door is locked.

Looking for a piece of cake at a party, the pregnant student Hannah, who lives in the apartment next door, decides to drop in, but no one opens her door. After returning home, she sends her boyfriend George for a cake. In the meantime, the killed guests of Sally also turn into demons, and Sally herself begins to bleed out with toxic blood, which is beginning to erode the skyscraper ceilings. Having infiltrated into the sauna , the blood falls on a man who becomes a demon and attacks a visitor of the tanning bed . Blood also damages the wiring, which is why electricity and communications are cut off throughout the building, and doors and windows are blocked. Under the influence of the same blood flowing from the ceiling in one of the apartments, the dog turns into a demon and nibbles his mistress. After a power outage, George is locked in an elevator with a prostitute Mary, who previously came to his client.

Demons from Sally’s apartment break down the door and begin to attack the rest of the skyscraper’s occupants, including bodybuilders in the gym. Athletes, unable to leave the building, decide to barricade themselves in the underground garage, where they unsuccessfully try to break the door to the street and make a fire in front of the entrance to scare away the demons. Soon they are joined by another group of residents who have gone down to the garage. The leader in the person of coach Hank advises people to arm themselves with improvised means and make Molotov cocktails . The guard of the skyscraper finds George caught in the elevator, but he does not have time to help him out, having died at the hands of the demons running past and later wounding the one who was in the elevator with George Mary.

The car of Jacob and his fellow rockers at the entrance to the skyscraper gets into an accident, faced with a car of an agitated married couple, whose son Tommy remained in the skyscraper. Tommy, who had previously come into contact with blood, also turns into a demon and declares to the apartment to Hannah. From his body, a small monster is selected, whom Hannah manages to press against the wall with a pull-out bed. George, meanwhile, crawls out of the elevator through the shaft, before dropping the demon who had turned Mary into it. Reaching his apartment, George rescues Hannah from a monster who has gotten out from behind the bed, whom he pierces with an umbrella.

People in the garage give battle to the crowd of demons who have broken into the garage and lose it. George tells Hannah that the roof could be a safe place, but before that it goes down to distract the demons from the garage. Left alone, Hannah enters Sally's apartment and finds two survivors there - Teddy and Ullu. Down the stairs, George opens the gas in the switchboard and arranges an explosion, after which he returns to Hannah. All four go to the roof, but on the stairs Teddy becomes a demon, and George throws him down. On the roof, Ulla becomes a demon, with whom George deals in a similar way. Having fixed the rope on the roof, George and Hannah go down the skyscraper wall. Following them, the demon who survived the explosion, Sally, which George pierces with an iron pipe, descends along the same rope.

Leaving from the skyscraper, George and Hannah find themselves in a deserted television studio, where Hannah has contractions, and George takes birth from her. At dawn in the studio announced agonizing and blind demon Sally. After dying in front of the camera , the demon is reborn on the television screens installed in the studio, intending to get out of them. George manages to break the screens, then goes out with Hannah and his newborn son.
