Story
The story told by Ned, a smart old man who got tired of writing newspaper articles about the South-West and who decides to take a pen and tell the "true story of my life." Crossing the Great Plains in Texas with his father (Chris Cooper), the young Ned (Sian Baka) was abducted by a fierce Comanche gang and accidentally given to the care of a Mexican-Indian mystic named Crecencio (Lewis Avalos). This cunning sage teaches the boy how to survive and how to lie and steal, so that he soon becomes known as the "Texas Boy" thug.
