Hotel Paradiso (film, 1999)

The action begins with the awakening of the hotel owner, Richie. He is trying to wake and rush a colleague who lives behind the wall, but his companion rushes at that time, sometimes falling asleep, along the highway on an uncontrolled motorcycle to catch him at work. After changing clothes, Richie goes downstairs, scandalizing with guests and a cook. At the same time, his assistant Eddie rides a motorcycle into the railing and lands next to the counter. Then both friends go to the hotel cafe, where Richie makes fun of the guests, and Eddie goes to the kitchen to boil an egg, because the cook escaped after the scandal with Richie. Richie, outraged by the stupidity of Eddie, who does not know how to spell the word “egg,” fights with him, smashing the whole kitchen. An angry guest comes in at the end of the fight and is interested in the state of breakfast. Having received the answer that breakfast is over, he does not stand it and sends Richie to a knockout for 8 hours, after which he leaves the hotel with his mistress.

Waking up after being hit by a hammer and glasses of water poured into Eddie’s face, Richie finds out that the guests have moved out and only the insane permanent resident of their hotel remains. Together with Eddie, they dragged her upstairs, after which Richie, dressed as a doctor, with the help of Eddie watered the old woman until the blackout and wanted to knock her golden teeth. But the family comes with a boy and a girl. Having invited the couple to have a drink at the bar, Eddie goes for a walk with the children, and Richie rummages through the things of the guests. Finding there rubber spikes, he tries on it in front of the mirror, while the kind, sweet Eddie shakes the girl on a swing so that she flies out of them and falls off a cliff. With the other hand, Eddie treats the boy with alcohol. They pull out the girl and return to the hotel.

Almost taken aback by the suddenly returning guests, Richie escapes in a labyrinth of secret passages penetrating the hotel, and then, going down to the counter, finds Gina Karponara there, a pornstar fleeing a pesky bridegroom. Delicately hiding behind the counter (since he is still in rubber pants with spikes), he sends her to the bar, and he hides in the kitchen in the oven.

At this time, Eddie and Gina appear in the kitchen. Eddie talks to Gina, as a result of which she expresses a desire to stay in a hotel. Gina absentmindedly presses the power button on the oven where Richie is sitting, Eddie and Gina leave the kitchen. Eddie sends Gina to the room, after which, together with Richie in the kitchen, she frantically thinks of what to cook dinner, because the cook, leaving, took or destroyed all the products. As a result of the explosion of Richie's inflated rubber underpants, Eddie flies out into the street. When handling a truck, dead fish falls out through Eddie's impenetrable head. Richie and Eddie are glad that there is at least some kind of food, they fry it and feed all the guests.

After dinner, everyone disperses into rooms. Gina ordered a salad in her room (without seasoning). Eddie and Richie understand this in such a way that they undress and bring a salad to her room. The father of the family discovers that hidden video cameras are installed everywhere and picks up a tape recording how naked Richie and Eddie are running around the hotel, threatening to transfer it to the police. When he falls asleep, Richie and Eddie try to fish out the cassette through the hole in the ceiling, but instead of the cassette, the hook hooks onto the ring on the nipple of the father of the family. Through a secret passage, Richie crawls into the nightstand on which the cassette lies and, finally, takes it to himself. But the lock on the secret back door of the nightstand slams shut. Richie calls Eddie and asks to get him out. Eddie comes into the room, waking the family, sets fire to the nightstand and takes it out of the room, but drops it from the stairs. Suddenly Gina's fiancé is announced. He orders dinner and three whores in his room and tries to rape his bride.

In the middle of the night, workers at the nuclear power plant come to Eddie on a nightly glass. In horror, they discover a luminous fish and, having checked it with a Geiger counter , tell the owners of the hotel that everyone can die. Richie and Eddie "reel fishing rods." At the same time, everyone who ate fish begins to suffer indomitable vomiting. Gina's groom explodes. Richie, Eddie, and Gina (who did not eat fish) receive a suitcase of money and tickets to the Caribbean from a government representative to prevent the leak at the nuclear power plant.
