The north of the state of Ceará ( port. Mesorregião do Norte Cearense ) is an administrative-statistical mezoregion in Brazil , part of the state of Ceará . The population is 1,006,582 people (for 2010). The area is 21,063.274 km². The population density is 47.79 people / km².
