Campo das Vertentis ( port. Mesorregião do Campo das Vertentes ) is the administrative-statistical mesoregion in Brazil , part of the state of Minas Gerais . The population is 554,354 people (as of 2010). Area - 12 580,490 km². The population density is 44.06 people / km².
