Aleksey (Alexa) Yankovic ( Serb. Alexei јankoviћ , 1806 ( 1810 ?) - 1869 ) - Serbian statesman. He was secretary of the Serbian prince Michael . One of the active instigators of the revolution of 1842 and one of the editors of the constitution, Yankovich, with the assumption of the principality of Alexander Karageorgievich , took over as director of the state chancellery. Together with Petronovic and Simić, he had a predominant influence on the administration of Serbia, especially when Prince Alexander withdrew from Serbia. He has consistently held the posts of State Chancellor, Minister of Justice, President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
