The village is located on the right bank of the Kolpino River (a tributary of the Volma) , south of the Maly Zapolek tract on the Valdai Upland , 25 km west of Okulovka (40 km by road [2] ), to the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Borovenka 14 km (23 km by road [2] ).
Nearby, 2 km south-west of Korpov, is the long-uninhabited village of Davydovichi, and 3 km south of the village is Bolshoi Zapolek .

History
In the Novgorod province, the village was assigned to the Zaruchevsky volost of the Krestetsky district ( Karpovo ), and from March 30, 1918 of the Malovishersky district . Since 1927, the village was part of the Zaruchevsky village council , then until 2005 the village was one of the settlements subordinate to the administration of the Borovenkovsky village council, after which it became one of the settlements of the Borovenkovsky rural settlement .

The nearest train station is located in Borovenka. At 3 km from the village - in the Big Zapolek there is a road from Borovenka to Zaruchevye .
