Story
The action takes place in one of the ordinary American families. Dad works at the factory as an engineer, and mom works at an advertising agency. The family has three children who need care.
But changes are coming - the father is dismissed from his job, and my mother, on the contrary, gets a new, highly paid position. But now she can not give children as much time as before. But there is a way out - the father of children becomes the housewife. But not everything works out for him, but the film is filled with many comic moments.
Jack discovers that taking care of children and caring for the house is a rather difficult task, and he asks for the help of other housewives in the neighborhood. In the end, he succeeds, although a little distracted by the flirtatious Joan (a neighbor and friend of Caroline), he begins to feel limited household chores.
Meanwhile, Caroline faces difficulties in the work environment: her household chores her position as a manager, and her boss intends to deal with her in her own way. However, the woman decides a difficult situation for an important client, and a client representative wants her to fly to Los Angeles to help make a commercial, while Jack's former employer invites him for an interview for an old job. But Jack's former boss, Jinks Latham, has betrayed his reputation and now lectures workers on the dirty practices of deception and tricks.
Carolyn's boss, Ron Richardson, tries to convince her to leave Jack and marry him, while Joan continues to try to seduce Jack. After shooting a commercial in Los Angeles, Caroline is resting in her bathroom. Ron makes his way to her with champagne. After returning home, Jack tries to call his wife so the children can talk to her, but Ron answers and hangs up, making Jack think that she has an affair with him. In fact, Caroline rejects Ron and leaves work.
The next day, Caroline returns unexpectedly, she and Jack discuss their differences, and reunite as a stronger couple. Ron asks Caroline to return to his company, because the client thinks that only she can work correctly with his business. However, she misses a meeting with a client and spends time with her children. Jack is finally reinstated at work under the best conditions. The television broadcast is a commercial created by Caroline.
