History
The group "Today in the World" was created by musicians from Moscow near Fryazino , former classmates Pavel Seryakov and Ilya Sosnitsky . For more than ten years they were members of the Leap Year group , but due to disagreements in the team, in June 2006 they decided to leave the Leap Year and organize their own group. After six months of work on preparing the repertoire, in 2007 the project “Today in the World” was formed.
The name of the collective was taken from the song "Star Boy".
June 19, 2012 announced the closure of the project "Today in the world" [1] .
However, despite the closure of the project, on September 13, 2012 a new song “Zaya” appeared on the band’s official website [3] .
After the project was closed in 2012 and 2013, the group members gave several “ apartments ”, and in June 2015 [2] announced that they were “re-opening” the project and continue their activities.
On March 14, 2018, Pavel Seryakov left a message on the group’s official website that Ilya was no longer related to the group. Pavel plans to carry out further activities alone. [four]
On November 30, 2018, the premiere of the video for the song “Love” took place. [5]
