Biography
In 1882 he graduated from the Naval College. He participated in the suppression of the Yetuan revolt in China. From April 28, 1903 - the commander of the destroyer " Piercing ", from November 20, 1904 - the mine cruiser "Muscovite", from October 2, 1906 - the training vessel "Warrior".
The rank of captain of the 1st rank is the captain of the battleship " Tsesarevich " (05/19/1908 - 01/10/1911). Commanding a battleship, in December 1908 - January 1909 he took part in helping the victims of the earthquake in the city of Messina . For participation in the rescue operation he was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Saints Mauritius and Lazarus [1] . From 05/07/1913 to 07/16/1917 - commandant of the Revel military port (port of Emperor Peter the Great). December 6, 1916 promoted to vice admiral . July 16, 1917 was credited to the reserve ranks of the Ministry of the Sea.
