Crato e Martires ( port. Crato e Mártires ) is a region (Fregesia) in Portugal , part of Portalegre . It is part of the municipality of Krato . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Alto Alentejo . Included in the economic statistical subregion of Alto Alentejo , which is included in Alentejo . The population is 1804 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 169.11 km².
