Content
Story
Each episode opens with the following sentence: “The space of a hotel room has existed for a millennium, but has not been defined. People limited it, shaped it and passed through it. And sometimes, bypassing him, they suddenly came across the secret names of truth [1] . ”
Series 1: The Jokers
September 1969 In room 603 there are two - a man named Moe ( Harry Dean Stanton ) and prostitute Darlene ( Glenn Headley ). Suddenly, a third person appears in the room - Lou ( Freddie Jones , en: Freddie Jones ), who completely takes control of the situation.
Series 2: Get Rid of Robert
June 1992 Room 603 was occupied by a young blonde named Sasha ( Deborah Anger ). Soon friends come to her - Tina ( Chelsea Field ) and Diana ( Marishka Hargitay ). Girls discuss the future of Sasha - will she marry Robert ( Griffin Dunn ). Meanwhile, Robert himself enters the room and tells Sasha the unpleasant news.
3rd series: “Without light”
April 1936 New York has a power outage . Number 603 includes a young man named Danny ( Crispin Glover ), he brought Chinese food with him. His wife - Diana ( Alisha Witt ) - sits in the dark on the bed, covering his eyes with his palm. During their conversation, it turns out that Diana is experiencing mental problems caused by the death of her son. Soon she will meet with a doctor.
