Espité ( port. Espite ) is a region ( fressees ) in Portugal , part of Santarem district. It is part of the municipality of Ouren . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Beira-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion Media-Tejo , which is included in Alentejo . The population is 1275 people for 2001 . Covers an area of 18.96 km².
