Morishkash ( port. Mouriscas ) is a district ( fregezia ) in Portugal , part of Santarem County. It is an integral part of the municipality of Abrantes . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Ribatejo . Included in the economic and statistical sub-region of Mediu-Tagus , which is part of the Central region . The population is 1946 people in 2001 . It covers an area of 34.98 km².
