Vila do Conde ( port. Vila do Conde ) is a settlement and district in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Vila do Condi . It is part of a large metropolitan area of Greater Porto . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Greater Porto , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 25,731 people in 2001 . It covers an area of 6.88 km².
