Santiago de Bogadu ( port. Santiago de Bougado ) - a district (fregezia) in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Tropha . It is part of a large metropolitan area of Greater Porto . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion Ave , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 6759 people in 2001 . It covers an area of 14.5 km².
