Madalena ( port. Madalena ) - a district (fregezia) in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Paredes . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Tamega , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 1725 people in 2001. It covers an area of 1.16 km².
