Freisho ( port. Freixo ) is a district (fressea) in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is part of the municipality of Marco de Canavezes . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic statistical subregion Tamega , which is included in the Northern region . The population is 850 people in 2006 . It covers an area of 4.60 km².
