Foliada ( port. Folhada ) - a region (freesia) in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Marco de Canavezes . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Tamega , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 736 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 8.81 km².
