Torno ( port. Torno ) is a district (freesia) in Portugal , part of the Porto district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Lauzada . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Tamega , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 2,452 people in 2001 . It covers an area of 3.35 km².
