Story
Comic artist Josh Baker ( Eric Roberts ), on the streets of New York, meets a woman named Cheryl (Janine Turner), very similar to one of the comic book heroines. Suddenly, she becomes ill and an ambulance takes her. When Josh wanted to visit her at the hospital, it turned out that Cheryl was not hospitalized. Cheryl's roommate also disappears after riding the same ambulance. The police believe that Josh has lost his mind because of his comics, and is not eager to investigate the “hopeless” case. And nothing remains for Josh, as soon as he himself unravels the secret of this strange vehicle. The whole thing turned out to be a crazy doctor who imagined that he could cure diabetes . For his experiments, in fact, people who suffered from this disease were abducted.
