It is part of a large metropolitan area Greater Lisbon . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Estremadura . Included in the economic and statistical subregion is Greater Lisbon , which is part of the Lisbon region . The population is 888 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 6.17 km².
