It is part of a large metropolitan area Greater Lisbon . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Estremadura . Included in the economic and statistical subregion is Greater Lisbon , which is part of the Lisbon region . The population is 5,647 people in 2011 . It covers an area of 1.43 km².
