Salvador ( port. Salvador ) is a region (freesia) in Portugal , part of the Castelo Branco district. It is part of the municipality of Penamacor . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Beira-Baixa . Included in the economic statistical subregion of Beira-Interior-Sul , which is included in the Central region . The population is 589 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 10.21 km².
