Thosa [1] ( port. Touça ) is a settlement and district in Portugal , part of Guarda District. It is part of the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz-Coa . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Traz-montish and Alto Douro . Included in the economic and statistical subregion Douro , which is included in the Northern region . The population is 253 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 9.89 km².
