Marialva ( port. Marialva ) is a district (freesia) in Portugal , part of Guarda County. It is an integral part of the municipality of Meda . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Beira Alta . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Beira-Interior-Norte , which is part of the Central region . The population is 271 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 19.15 km².
