São Julian ( port. São Julião ) is a city and district in Portugal , part of Guarda District. It is part of the municipality of Govay . It is located within the large urban agglomeration Big Viseu . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Beira-Alta . Included in the economic statistical subregion of Serra da Estrela , which is included in the Central region . The population is 1561 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 9.68 km².
