Alvadia ( port. Alvadia ) - a region (freesia) in Portugal , part of the Vila Real district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Ribeira de Pena . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Traz-u-Montish and Altu-Douro . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Tamega , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 220 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 33.79 km².
