Castelo ( port. Castelo ) is a district (fregezia) in Portugal , part of the Viseu district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Moimenta da Beira . It is part of a large metropolitan area Big Viseu . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Beira Alta . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Dourou , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 315 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 6.42 km².
