Sande ( port. Sande ) is a region (freesia) in Portugal , part of the Viseu district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Lamego . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Traz-u-Montish and Altu-Douro . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Dourou , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 1,134 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 3.11 km².
