The village is located on the left bank of the Klokina River on the Valdai Upland , 29 km north of Okulovka (49 km by road [2] ), to the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Borovenka 21 km (32 km by road [2] ).

History
In the Novgorod province, the village was assigned to the Kayovo volost of the Krestetsky district , and from March 30, 1918 the Malovishersky district . Until 2005, the village was one of the settlements subordinate to the administration of the Kayovo village council .

The nearest train station is located in Borovenka. 2 km from the village, in Pepelovo is the highway Borovenka - Wislenev Ostrov - Lyubytino .
