Prozelou ( port. Prozelo ) is a region (freesia) in Portugal , part of Viana do Castelo . It is part of the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Minho . Included in the economic statistical subregion of Minho-Lima , which is included in the Northern Region . The population is 1020 people for 2001 . Covers an area of 4.15 km².
