Vila Verde ( port. Vila Verde ) is a settlement and district in Portugal , part of the Braganca district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Mirandela . According to the old administrative division, it entered the provinces of Traz-u-Montish and Altu-Douro . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Altu-Traz-us-Montes , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 100 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 9.87 km².
