São Paio ( port. São Paio ) is a region (fresseia) in Portugal , part of Braga district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Guimaraes . It is part of the large urban agglomeration of the Big Minho . According to the old administrative division was part of the province of Minho . Included in the economic statistical subregion Ave , which is included in the northern region . The population is 3920 people for 2001 . It covers an area of 0.37 km².
