Arada ( port. Arada ) is a district (fregezia) in Portugal , part of the Aveiro district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Ovar . It is part of a large metropolitan area Big Aveiro . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Beira Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion Baishu-Vouga , which is part of the Central region . The population is 3430 people. It covers an area of 15.34 km².
