São Miguel do Mato ( port. São Miguel do Mato ) is a district (fregezia) in Portugal , part of the Aveiro district. It is an integral part of the municipality of Arok . It is part of a large metropolitan area of Greater Porto . According to the old administrative division, it was part of the province of Douro-Litoral . Included in the economic and statistical subregion of Entre Dourou i Vouga , which is part of the Northern region . The population is 800 people. It covers an area of 27.34 km².
